Hosted by Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability, Environment, and Social Transition in Economics and Finance (SESTEF 2024) took place on December 11–13, 2024. The event was co-organized with the Paris School of Business, Southampton Business School, University of Paris-Saclay, Audencia Business School, and École Polytechnique, with support from Gaia (Audencia), CRECC (Paris School of Business), the Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne, and the UMI SOURCE (University of Paris-Saclay), along with the participation of TEP (Technology and Energy Power).
Over three days, 160 international participants, including academics, policymakers, and practitioners, explored the interconnected challenges of energy, environment, sustainability, social transition, economics, and finance. Highlights included keynote lectures by Professor Nuno Fernandes (IESE Business School, Spain) and Professor Katheline Schubert (Paris School of Economics, France).
The conference fostered rich discussions, promising collaborations, and fresh ideas, reinforcing the shared commitment of its organizers to advancing impactful research and driving sustainable solutions worldwide.
