PUBLICATIONS

Articles in specialized journals

In her article “The Changing Role of the Patient in Data Collection,” published in Survey-Magazine’s special report on health data and the role of the patient, Judith Partouche-Sebban, Professor of Marketing and Director of the Living Health - PSB Chair, explores the evolving position of patients as co-actors within health services.

Embracing the concept of ‘Service Dominant Logic’ in marketing, she explains the concept and implications of co-creating value in the realm of data collection. Judith Partouche-Sebban argues that this collaborative process “paves the way for an experiential approach to health, which has become indispensable for both practitioners and scholars”. Furthermore, she explores the boundaries of this active role for patients in data collection, a dynamic that is reshaping the traditional relationship between patients and healthcare providers.

In the insightful article “Artificial Intelligence: What Survival Strategies for Companies?” Olivier Mamavi, Associate Professor in Data Management and co-founder of the Management & Datascience magazine, sheds light on the strategies companies are adopting to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and extract best practices.

Co-authored with Romain Zerbib, Professor at ICD Business School and Publishing Director of the Management & Datascience magazine, the piece, featured in the Harvard Business Review France, proposes a classification of companies into four categories based on their approach to AI: the pioneers, the natives, the emerging, and the reluctant. This categorisation serves as a framework to comprehend the diverse organisational responses to AI’s growing influence.

Meriam Razgallah, Associate Professor in Management, has contributed an article to the RRI Alternatives Economiques Blog. Her piece highlights the importance of social entrepreneurs in driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusion, which are essential for expediting progress towards the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The article also sheds light on the challenges that social entrepreneurs encounter and raises pertinent questions about nurturing innovation and social entrepreneurship as a means to fulfil the SDGs.

In their article “L’art de conduire la politique macroprudentielle” (The Art of Macroprudential Policymaking), Florian Pradines-Jobet, Associate Professor in Finance, and Yannick Lucotte, Affiliated Professor in Finance, explore the intricacies and challenges inherent in macroprudential policymaking.

Published on the blog of the AFSE (Association Française de Science Economique/French Economic Association), the article is informed by their recent research. It posits that for macroprudential policies to be fully effective, they must be implemented in a counter-cyclical manner. This approach is crucial for stabilising the financial system and mitigating the risks of economic fluctuations.
